AGRANEE is also implementing a solar electrification programme in collaboration with Barefoot College International, Rajasthan focusing on the empowerment of rural, tribal, illiterate and semi-literate women of Mayurbhanj district. This year we have identified and trained 12 tribal women/girl of Kaptipada block to carry forward the project activities in a entrepreneurship mode. Under this programme solar products like- Solar Torchlight, Lantern and Home Lighting Systems are being provided to the needy families at a subside rate with instalment facility.
